Chao Phraya Express Boat Fares Reduced by One Baht

Effective 1 May 2026, all Chao Phraya Express Boat services will offer more affordable river travel across Bangkok and Nonthaburi.

On 28 April 2026, Chao Phraya Express Boat Co announced a further one-baht fare reduction across its entire network, citing the recent decline in diesel prices to 40.25 baht per litre. The adjustment applies to every flag service operating between Pak Kret in Nonthaburi and Wat Ratchasingkorn pier in Bangkok. The new fares will take effect on Friday, 1 May 2026.

  • Yellow-Flag service (Nonthaburi–Sathorn): 23 baht

Lt Cdr Charoenporn Charoentham, managing director of the company, confirmed: “The fare reduction will cover all boat services on the Chao Phraya River between Pak Kret in Nonthaburi and the Wat Ratchasingkorn pier in Bangkok.” He added that the company remains prepared to implement further reductions should fuel prices continue to fall.

This latest adjustment follows an earlier reduction and underscores the operator’s commitment to maintaining affordable public transport along one of Bangkok’s most scenic and efficient corridors. The Chao Phraya Express Boat remains a vital link for commuters and visitors, connecting key piers while avoiding road congestion.
